Hubs are about the only thing left that have not been broken.....yet. I will see what I can do on that.

What did I learn from the 2010 season? Hmmm. If you go and race at the National level you better have some horsepower. And be ready to be interviewed at any time. Fox Sports caught me right before my race at the Finals. Kinda calmed me down though. Good times after the races and Great people to finish the evening out with. Rooster, Easy Parcheesy, Eelriverracer, the Mikulas and all of the MILMRA group, all new great friends. Bring on 2011 and lets top it!!

In all fairness, Ed, I've only seen you race on two occasions. Technically, the dipstick broke itself the first time out, and the second time, the straw bale was clearly in the wrong position on the outside of the track. So the strawbale technically broke the twin's hood ... and the Mowmentum decal!

With two new members of the Deere Herd nippin at my heals to get their builds done, I learned "Patience". Patience and humility...

...surprise and fear...fear and surprise.... Our two weapons are fear and surprise...and ruthless efficiency.... Our *three* weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency...and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope.... Our *four*...no... *Amongst* our weapons.... Amongst our weaponry...are such elements as fear, surprise.... I'll come in again.

Sorry, this post broke out into a Monty Python skit...

As I was saying, It was a good year. We picked up two new members, brought our mower count up. (we now have 9 mowers running) This is the first year I went backwards in the points. I finished somewhere around the 6th or 7th spot last year. Im not even close to the top ten this year. But... eh, thats racing. The up side of the year is, I have made new friends, seen old friends, and have been able to even make some laugh. I hope that on my tombstone I can say, "Atleast they got a giggle out of it."

With all this talk of Ed King breaking stuff I just have one question why couldn't he break something when he was in front of me. that was a great race I had a blast maybe next time we can be racing for first, I would still be happy finishing second to ya.

I also learned this year that if Ed didn't break it, his brother-in-law Troy did. Sometimes they both broke it. Everytrhing going Fumar.

Bert
Gary Busey and Rick James both used to live in my shop. Redline stole them.
