Maybe there is a problem with the charging circuit. Whats the voltage on the battery with the motor running?

If the charging circuit works, you should see more than 12V on the battery. Jump it, if it starts, more than likely it is something messed up in the charging circuit.

Have you checked it for spark? If ya have good strong spark its not the coil. Will it even crank itself over when ya hit the starter button?

Use a volt meter and c heck the battery for voltage. IF you have 12 volts then check for blown fuse...

i check the battery and its good. i jumped my starter and turned over the motor then i jumped the selinoid and started so my theory is the ignition switch. want your opinion?

Your still running an ignition switch on your racer? That's odd. But it sounds like ya might be right. Switches usually don't cost much, but I think you would be happier with the ease of a toggle switch and a push starter button
