nice thing about a castle nut, i have allways tightened them finger tight and never use a wrench, i have never lost a bearing in 3 years with this method, i have seen many people lose bearings when using locknuts, you can get castle nuts for a kart spindle that have finger grooves machined into them!

thats the style castles i use!! run em down til they are tight then back one notch up til the cotter will go through ;)
