Traction 101:
1: Install tires on rims, any tire, doesn't matter.
2: Air up to approximately past flat.
3: Install one George (that's the secret ingredient)

4. Fine tune with chicken until desired traction is met....  :noplease:

rofl, Best part is, even if George Passes ya, he won't get too big a lead on ya. He is incapable of running away from the smell of chicken!

Apparently at that KFC they only carry the small one...

well been doing some odds and ends here and there, finished the running boards, made some pedals out of 1/2'' steel, just used some heat and a vise to bend them,

for the base of the pedals i used 5/8'' pipe, drilled out center to 1/2'' and used 1/2''x3/8'' oil-lite bushings, then welded the pedals to the pipe and bolted them in place with 3/8'' bolts, turned out pretty good for about $12 in metal and bushings, this weekend gonna try and get ragb mounted and clutch done, hopefully be a roller in next couple weeks!

dont let money discourage you, as it sits i have roughly $200 in it, that not counting ragb and the parts i have waiting to be put on it, tell you now it will have a very mild intek for starter of 2011, billet flywheel, rods and some updated valvetrain, but that is it, some porting work, stock cam, and mower tires on rear for time being, i been keeping track of cost of what it takes to build, i work in a well equipped shop, which helps a bunch, but could be duplicated reasonable, heck i could help alot of fellow racers out on pieces for a great price....i enjoy building stuff! when its done i will have a cost breakdown of exactly what it cost and will show it can be done pretty reasonable...... ;)

I think that is the biggest misconception about this style of chassis. After talking with racers in Ohio and reading here and there, most believe its expensive to get into a chassis like this. It doesn't cost one dime more to build a supermod/outlaw machine then it does a supersportsman or BP, its all the same parts just installed a bit different.
They do look pretty wild and fast, but in reality all those changes that make them look that way are really done to improve safety.

Yup cost is about the same.... The biggest Difference is the Build. We are so use to building one way that when it comes to building these we gotta get out of the box and think outside the box. NOW there are getting to be plenty of build pictures posted that it really helps the new folks building them the first time.

got the ragb mounted today, used 1/4'' by 6'' flat iron then trimmed to fit for a mount, made the outside bearing un-boltable so i could quickly and easily change the front sprocket, i have 4 different front sprockets that cost about as much as 1 rear sprocket, saves a little money, once you figure out a good all around rear sprocket, gonna start with a 58 and 13 and go drom there!
