I think we run on too dusty and dirty of tracks to carry over week to week

Not so much breaking down but getting gritty

I agree, but I make the decision to change based on laps and track conditons.  No real "science" to it.  Like I said I am running Mobil 1 this year as my cousin got me a good deal on it.  It is clear unlike the Amsoil which is red.  It is easier to see the contaminents in the clear oil, making it easier to tell if it needs changed.

And yes, I do waste a bunch of money on oil.  But I also have never blown up an enigne in 7 years of racing modified engines!  So if I spend an extra $50-$75 per year on oil, well it is worth it to me to not be fixing stuff!!!

sUPPORTING THOSE WHO SUPPORT US IS NEVER A WASTE OF MONEY!

I completely agree Rooster.  All I have ever used is Amsoil.  However that wasnt what I was getting at.  I was simply asking if the cheaper oils like walmart offers are just as good as the premiums like Amsoil , Lucas, Purple, or any of the other performance oils.  Just as good for our purposes at least.
