Another great night of racing Sunday night, July 25th for the Sac Valley Mower Racers running at the Stanislaus County Fair in Turlock, Ca. 13 mowchines were split up into 2 heats & mains. The show included mud bogs with the mower racers racing around the mud bog pit. Young gun Garrett Pierachini from Potter Valley had fast time with female racer Chriece Washburn (Potter Valley) beating all the boys after battling with Gary Gallo (Potter Valley) in a tightly contested race for 1st with Bob Newman (Hughson) following up in 3rd in the "A" main. Newcomer Stewart Cancimilla was fast for his 1st time out but ended up have chain issues. The "B" main podium was all Potter Valley with Tommy Carkin taking 1st, Wyatt Phillips 2nd & Danny Christensen 3rd. The most entertaining moment of the evening was Richard Nunes losing control of his #69 stock mower & ending up in the mud bog pit. SVMR will be in action with the Mowtivated Hillbillies next weekend at Paso Robles for the Cal Mid-State Fair & then at the Yolo County Fair in Woodland on Aug 20.
