My new 10 dollar mower

It has a peerless 800 series 5 speed. My question is who makes it?? I have never herd of a powerstreak.

ive got the same frame,with a 14 hp opposed briggs,still under construction though.

its the same as my yard man,so im assuming MTD might be wrong though.

well i know for sure that that is a Montgomery Ward hood, and the frame is the same frame that is in those infamous "G-Team chassis slideshows" not sure what
brand it is though...but i bet Rocky could tell you...... :D

i would like to say its an MTD but one thing threw me off i have yet to find an MTD that has the 800seires 5 speed they all have the transmatic axel or what ever they are called. but let me know. they coudl have made some with it but i just havent seen one. now are u shure its not variable speed and not just the forward reverse read end.

hmm interesting ive never seen or found one with a 5 speed in it i dont think its an MTD hmm we gotta get george in here to take a look and see what he has to say becuase i have never foudn one with a 5 speed every one i have ever found had the variable speed and ive seen some of the oldest ones ever.

Trust me on this guys I worked for MTD dealer for 6 years, it is 100%MTD.

well i guess i was provden wrong:P i had a fealing it was but hmm i wish mine had that 5 speed instead of wuts in my mower well nto my race mower but this junker i have. so wut are the plans for this mower.

I have joined a local mower race club and am building it to their rules and specs. I have a 12.5 that I am rebuilding to go in it. Take the peerless and put a solid axle in it clean it out and then cut about 4.5 inches off the top of the frame paint it blue and silver maybe. I havent decieded the color just yet. I am going to take my time and try to do it right for the first race that starts in march next year.

i hate you and your beautiful rear end. You know if you want you could ship it canada and ill make sure it works ok :wink:  but im a little short on funds,it might not make it back.

Tell the guys down there at SEMOW Racers to take it easy on you. Especially that 1031 character! You gotta watch him!! In fact it might be a good idea to get him over to your garage so you can, he might share a few ideas.  :wink:
