Tubes needed?

C/P CLASS: Is it a safe bet to install tubes (at least in the rear) for racing? Years ago my neighbor raced quads and they never used tubes (but he had some nice high dollar wheels with beadlocks!---hmmmmmmmmm beadlocks)

Anytime I mount a tire tubless I use some tire patch glue I buy it in a can with a brush. I run it around the rim lip and or tire bead seats easier and seals the bead. But I never run a race tire tubelss anymore.
