Ed's son from his first marraige, Running on Empty, won't speak to me as he considers me the other man.

Bert

Bert, I thought we were past that stage in our lives.  I know you and Ed are tight.

Last year was my first year racing and my daughter said she wanted to try it. Since I was so involved in the rules last year, the club made me the tech official. Worked a Junior class into the rules and we built one for her this winter. She has raced twice so far and once with the adults in the imow class and did real good. Even got the wife involved when we didn't have an announcer for the first race and she stepped up and did a great job. So good that the club hired her to do it all year. The three of us all have jobs to do at the track and have a fun time doing it together.

My wife couldn't even tell you what color my mower is, or, what class I run in.  When something goes wrong and I'm grouchy, she just gets grouchy with me.  When I win and I'm happy, she gets happy with me.  She doesn't argue to much about what I spend on the mower and the trips.  She has never been to a race, but, she brags on me to her friends all the time and tells them how crazy I am for the hobby I have....... WHAT A WOMAN... I sure love her for just leaving me alone and letting me do my thing.
Lord, bless me with victory.  If not, bless me with the sportsmanship to accept defeat and the courage to say,  " I'll get em next time.... AMEN

Frank, Thats what I thought, only someone that was on facebook all the time would have gotten into the most randomo conversation, but if you are caught up on Facebook, you'd know that kid gives me alot of heck, and takes pride in being random.

Glen thats neat, is she getting more comfortable with her machine.

Ron thats cool too.

Kelsey is very comfortable on her racer. She drives a good line and watches other drivers for their line so they do not touch. She wants to go faster already. We are thinking about moving the rpm up in the junior class a little bit. Maybe.
