Well this may be shocking.......Briggs Opposed Twins!

Flatheads are easy and reliable. ANd there is no flathead that has the power of an opposed twin!
I also enjoy other flathead twins, Kohlers, Onans, but those are harder to find, Briggs are a dime a dozen.

I'm going to have to say personally a flathead Briggs! They are relatively easy to work on, and were one of the first engines that I managed to teardown and rebuild on my own without the help of my dad, friends, or brothers...plus they are simple enough for a blonde to understand.
Race for the little girl in the stands that you used to be!
The one that cheered for every racer no matter who they were!
The one that said Daddy, I can't wait to be on the track like them?

Well I am a bit differnt... I love working on the Tecumseh V-Twins. Nothing like em. They are a different breed and not many people run or even want to be near them. LONG LIVE THE INDIANS.

If the Briggs is like a small block chevy I might need to get a Tecumseh or a Kohler!!!!
You never win a race by focusing on one aspect of the race!  Motor isn't everything, but you better have a good one!  Chassis too!  But remember, a driver can take a slow machine and make it faster!  I may not have/be the best of any of these but I'm trying!
