In my brief motorsport career I've seen endless people always wanting MORE POWER, but very few understand how good, larger brakes can make you faster.

Someone has done their home work.

Like I've posted before, you and others have been so kind to post all this information about your builds, what works, what might and what will not work, it's the least anyone can do. Even though I'm pretty much just following your MTD build, I as you know have a build thread over on the ARMA board to maybe help out others as well.

George, I'm running 6" kart wheels with the 12" burris tires on my pro-x. Will the 10" brake disc work?

No way! That only leaves you 1" clearence from disc to the ground. Any serious bumps and the disc will turn into a taco shell. Id look for a 8" disc if you can find one. If you want max braking without dragging the disc. Not sure who makes them but I have seen them that size.

I have the standard MCP one now. Probably gonna stick with that one. Adding from brakes so it shouldn't be a big problem.

Maybe a little late, but this is what I used on both my mowers. They make a hub to fit it also. http://www.bmikarts.com/item/8-Brake-Rotor---Gold-4828

I have gotten all out of whack on the pictures so not in an exact order.

The Headers as they come over the edge of the frame

Headers across the front of the motor

Pipes running under the running board turning out into the collector

Hear is what it looks like at the end .

The next 3 are a look at the throttle linkage set up.

The next four pictures are a running driving hot rod.took seat of gonna redo the mount for that.

This one shows under front the engine pulley and guides and the front brake line for the right front

This is the rear tranny pulley and the guides all guide bolts are 5/16 and can be removed with one

The transmission cover its completely coverd

The mtd adjustable seat bracket graphted in the fender. Still have to smooth everything out

The dash and as you can see I mounted the charge posts here makes it easy to get to and they are out of the way

I will post more pics as I sort thru them. I have tested the mower and its stupid crazy off the corners. Very much like the purple chassis I had. It was the hardest pulling thing I ever drove off the corners as a conventional chassis not a supermod. This thing will be an awesome sight to watch as it tote the front tires off the corners. Now Its the nasty work the body work. All the little welding and blending and snading and finsihing then PAINT!!!

IF their is something you want to see and don't see the picture let me know I will try to get it for you.

George did you step DOWN the exhaust as to the normal stepping up? Looks like alot longer primaries than you normally do? Are you on to something we're not aware of yet here on heymow? LOL!! Nice looking build yet again!!

1-1/4 o.d. headers, and god eye yes a bit longer primaries. I have tried this setup on a couple other machines with the Inteks and like the results. I also used this setup on my 03 thru 05 bp with the vanny's and loved it on them. Its a proven setup its not for every engine. But on certain engine builds it does very well.
