Well this one has been a challenge trying to get everything in tight yet 4" off the ground and use 8" rear wheels per US rules. I have cut it upo and started over several times but making progress. Phillip sorry for the time this is taking but I think when done you will be very pleased.
Here is the transmission in. I have slid it forward a bit Phillip wants the walk thru but it will not fit completely under. I have several things to do to make it look like it belongs. I think this is gonna work well.
Dash is mounted this being a twin it will need all the room it can get under the hood. The tank is notched in back to fit around the column, so I notched the factory mount slid it back and up a bit and got a bit more room.
Just a generic side view nothing special here.
Here you can see the original tank mount how I notched it for column clearance and the column in place this is the original column used to mock up mounts.
Bottom view of front axle beam mounted.
Bottom view of transmission mounted and clutch and idler. Things are so tight the idler sprocket I generally use will not fit. But the flat idler will do the job.
Close up of inside frame work for rear axle mount.
Clsoe up of top of steering column mount
Clsoer view of bottom column mount and tank mount
Closer look at sprocket and idler for chain showing how tight things are.
These next two pictures are a closer look at clutch.
More later. Back to work for me.
