USLMRA ANNOUNCES 3rd ANNUAL
PERFORMANCE MOWERSPORTS EXPO
Northbrook, IL ˆ The U.S. Lawn Mower Racing Association (USLMRA) has announced the 3rd Annual Performance Mowersports Expo (PME) to be held during the 18th annual STA-BIL Nationals, Labor Day Weekend, Friday-Sunday, September 3-5, 2010 at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Delaware, Ohio.
The Performance Mowersports Expo will bring together manufacturers, suppliers, builders and related product and service providers in the rapidly expanding lawn mower racing industry.
Engines, engine components, chassis, performance products, race equipment and related services will be featured with company representatives on site to discuss, sell to and educate the lawn mower racing community and the public.
„The first two Performance Mowersports Expos were highly successful and the USLMRA is pleased to continue to take the lead in presenting the first ever lawn mower racing industry expo,‰ noted USLMRA Founder and President Bruce Kaufman. „With the inaugural U.S. Open race scheduled during Nationals Weekend, we expect many new exhibitors from across the lawn mower racing world. The U.S. Open will attract racers and vendors from various sanctioning bodies, independent groups and clubs from across the U.S. and Canada and the PME will be the perfect venue to meet the folks servicing the lawn mower racing community. The PME will give vendors an opportunity to share their products, services and knowledge and receive some terrific exposure and possibly some TV time. Hosting the 3rd Industry Expo at the 18th STA-BIL Nationals will also continue to position our annual Labor Day Weekend event as America‚s premier lawn mower racing destination for racers, families and fans.‰

The USLMRA sanctions and presents organized lawn mower racing across America including the 18-race STA-BIL National Lawn Mower Racing US Points Series and 34 Local Chapters and Clubs hosting more than 110 sanctioned races nationwide. Events feature riding lawn mowers with cutting blades removed at speeds up to 60 mph. Lawn mowers race in four road course classes with all cutting blades removed: Stock (8 mph), IMOW (20 mph), Prepared (50 mph) and Factory Experimental (60 mph). USLMRA lawn mower racing is featured on Fox Sports Net, Discovery Channel and Outdoor Channel.
