has any one built a massey ferguson mf8 ive got one i was thinking of pulling but it would be belt drive and i may want to build a racer it may be alittle mo fun to play with

Personally no I haven't. I am still kinda new to this in my opinion even tho I'm on my third mower lol. I would say if your just startin out to build an mtd or murray widebody. There is a TON of info on here about them to guide you and for that matter you can just about buy everything to bolt together a race ready mtd from EC

We build serious race machines here, not to see how fast we can make a mower go.
Safety first is the only way to go. Such talk as that will get your thread chunked.
Read through the build sections, and you will find something that will fit your class
you are building for.

thank you for your post there bud but i didnt say a thing about not being safe every body knows you build something one step at a time i wanting ti know where i can get any parts for my mower chasssis parts anything i was planning on lowering it in the front and rear first to make it handle better then trying to find better brakes to make it stop then gear it right for the engine im building chunk it if you want but next time you smart off about how safe everyone should be ask them what there doing to be safe instead of making your assumption these sites are to help people ne way not critisize them if you aint gonna try and help dont reply
