k well this is the first mower ive actualy built for racing all my other ones are just for messing around. but this one is built for SOLTRA modified class all to spec. its got a 17 hp kohler magnum(free) and a run a peerless 700 series to a live axel its does 73 according to the callution thingy i found on this site. well let me know what u guys think. mind u its not painted in this picture but it is painted at this point i just dont have any pitures of it. oh and i know its not a john deere but thats what colour i painted it to look like infact the only part from a john deere is my peerless. but its ok i like john deere i figured it would look cool sitting next to my dad 300x. so let me know what u guys thing especialy the uslmra.

yup it goes close to what i calculade see the ds in the back ground well my cuz was on it and he was in 4th gear allmost full out and i was next to him on it. little scary on the mower.

well its geared down by now it only goes 71 next to my brothers motor cycle. but still its deffinately fast. and u guys will see it painted soon i hope.

so did i but then i whent to some races talked to some ppl and seen like matts mower and ppl like tha and found out how they built theirs and seen how fast theirs whent and i wanted to make one that fast. but this is the first one ive built for racing all my other ones have been for fun only.

Did you start with a craftsman frame? It looks it. If you did i have the same thing.

yes it is a craftsman frame and a cub cadette hood parts from every were and um yeh i got some build pics not the greatest qulity but they are pics.

Did you buy or make the front axle? And did you weld it where the stock one went in?

me and my dad built the front end i'm only 15 out of golf cart front end parts and um yeh it is mounted in the factory spot in soltra its a rule. were are u from. because if ur in soltra or looking to start racing in soltra and thats ontario lawn mower racing um check this site out www.soltra.ca even if u arent from around here take a look.

um i have no idea what class i would fall under :? because i dont race us lawn mower racing :lol: i race in canada soltra an i race modified we only have 4 classes stock super stock modified and super modified. min is built for modified so i have no idea. and yeh its a very popular lawn mower its simple and has a great clutch sistem. and soltra ihas rules that even make harren look bad because we have alot of safety rules i wouldn't mind seeing bumpers pute on his mower.
