Topic: 13 Inch Tire Width?

Does anyone know the the widest 13" turf tire you can get? Can't say I've ever seen any over 6.50 wide but I'd like to know if they come wider as in maybe a 7.50.

Well Tank we run the turf masters 13 teens front and rear on our v-twin and i weigh 190 lbs and we get all the traction we can handle and they steer great. plus wider tire than needed cost hp.
but would look cool with wider tires

the widest 13" tire is a 6.50.

Ok guess that means the widest wheel I'll run will be a 7.25.

They do fit well on an 8" also. Several racers are doing this I have a couple also.

Can you get them to seal ok without having to run tubes?

yes Tank I run the 6.5 front and rear 7.25  rims on the front and the 6.5 rims on the back

I run 6.5 tires on 8 inch wide rims on the back of my a/p.  Haven't had a minutes trouble out of them.

QRC makes 6" beadlocks, I think there around $80 or $90 each

Will a 13x5.0x6 fit on a  6.5 wide rim ?   I am trying to find local stuff and can get them for $25 on a rim.  I plan on using the rims as steering supports like the tip from George.
