they sell the 6.5 horse clones for $165 and are widely used at FOG speedway in the carts   they go on sale for 100 bucks couple times a year
They are good engines for stock racing and can be modified up the wazoo  :)

EC has the 6.5 clone for 109.00 check their site.

They sure are cheap, I remember the price of a 5hp honda over 25 years ago for my kart and they were almost five times that price.

Those clone engines are hit and miss. My Dad has a clone 8HP "Dane" engine. It seems allright but you can tell a lot of parts on it are just cheap. Yup- In China they have very lax laws and their government will side with their manufactures. The worst case I've read about was a car company in China that knocked off a Toyota Rav4, and even put a Toyota badge on it. Toyota sued them. The Chinese court said they "Didn't recognize" the brand name "Toyota".  GM sued a Chinese company that knocked off the Chevy Spark which is a small car they sell in Asia. Even the doors of the Chinese version fit GM's car. They too lost.
