Let me start out by saying PALMRA racers, YOU ROCK!
As many of you know and have seen Jackie Andrews lost her mother this passed week. Jackie, we missed you this weekend and hope you and your family are doing well.
At our drivers meeting Saturday night we decided to collect donations from the racers, family, and friends and send them to the Susan G. Komen for the cure breast cancer foundation in honor of Sara J. Barron and all of the other family members and friends battling all types of cancer. I am proud of our racers and the racing family for pulling together to support those who have already left us, and those doing their best to fight their own battles.
With out giving an exact dollar amount (over $150.00) THANK YOU to all those that donated. We also had members donate directly through the Susan G. Komen website.
Jackie I know that it doesn't make things any easier, but please know that you and your family were being thought of in Fawn Grove this weekend!

The last report we have on Courtney Fisher is that she was released from the hospital during our trophy presentation with no injuries. She was taken for observation, and she said she is ready to race again.......next season!
The point standings will be posted on the yahoo group, and should be on PALMRA.com by the end of the week. Congrats to all our champions and we are looking forward to a great awards banquet.
