Put on some finishing touches on the Paint Job this evening.  Man this thing is starting to look good.  Will have the whole thing put back together by the end of the weekend.  Have a few more parts to paint then reinstall.

Moving along on the project.  Flipped over on the wheels today and installed the instrument panel and front grill.  Would have taken pictures but the Wife took the camera with her this weekend for a yoga retreat thing.   Engine will be installed soon along with the hood and rear fender.

Bitter cold temps in Colorado prevented me from finishing it up last weekend.   Hood was installed this evening.   Now all that is left is the rear fender, engine, and foot peddles.   Pictures to follow soon.

New pictures of the progress this week on the building of the Tractor

The hood was a pain in the butt to get fitted again because it was a little bent.  Installed some nylon washer spacers to keep it from rubbing.   They do not make the right size but Home Depot had some of the right diameter.   I cut what I bought in half with a hack saw it after that they were the right size.  Hood glides up and down without any rubbing of the front grill.   Man this thing is starting to look good if I do say so myself.

If all goes well the beast will be ready to drive by this weekend.   I going to fill the tranny with oil tomorrow evening and install the engine this weekend.  Last I have to do is install the foot peddles after I paint them tomorrow evening.  Everything else is coming together.

Filled the tranny up with Valvoline semi syn 80w90 oil this evening and painted the foot the peddles.   Moving along and should be able to install the engine tomorrow evening.  The project is finally coming to an end.  Cannot wait to drive it.  8)

Did not get as far as I wanted today on the build.   Burnt out after moving 100 Bales of hay today.  6500 LBs of hay takes a toll on my 46 year old body.   Got more done but did not get the engine installed.  Maybe Sunday

Finally recovered and got more work done this evening in the man cave.  Installed the clutch and brake peddles this evening.  Once I adjust a few things the engine will be ready to install.  :D

Installed the linkage for the clutch and brake peddles this evening.  Broke out the brazing torch this evening because the linkage for the clutch assembly was worn pretty bad so I filled the holes on the wornout assembly with some brass brazing.  Used a file to make it round again.  Installed the linkage so the steel took wear on the repair work.  Coming along nicely

Dropped the engine on the chassis but need to buy some new mounting bolts for it.  Moving along will have the engine installed tomorrow night.   heck I will be able to drive it by the weekend.

We had 6 inches of snow today in the mountains of Colorado.  Early snow I must say sucks ;o)

WOW... that would suck. We had some last week here in Southern Ontario but none of it stayed now it's the high 60's and really nice.

I have the snow blower installed just in case though... LOL
