Horizontal Vanguard v-twin
« on: September 21, 2009, 09:25:30 pm »
I have a 16hp vanguard v-twin and I am courious what it would take to mount the motor in a vertical orientation. I am aware that I will need to change the carb but I need to know what is different internally if anything. Thanks

change to vertical pan and crank and machine ears off block if you don't want them on it and the carb will work just remove the elbow. If governed new linkages will need to be bought.
