Local lawn mower race here in Houlton as well as many other things to watch.  I'll just post the flyer.

We have a few comming down from Fort Kent, and one comming from Fitchburg Mass, anyone else comming up to maine for this weekend of burning gas in all sorts or four wheeled fun machines??

hello

 will you guys be racing the 27th of september ? we have two modified mowers down in southern maine and we want to race. we havent raced much this year . will there be any other mower up that way to race with ??

email me at myparts@gwi.net and I can get you a copy of the rules, If you have a fax number or your phone number I can call and give info.

They have moved the track from where it was for the fair, it is now roughly 2/10ths of a mile oval, it should be fast.  Our normal track is 1/10th and speeds are 30mph plus, just to give an idea.  There are no modifieds really to race here, everything so far is mostly in our superstock class, about 12-15 probly, maybe more, some are comming down from fort kent and more are being built all the time.

there are alot of other things going on for this weekend as well and it will be a good time.

Im one of the racers coming from fort kent.... and I have a pretty fast wizard with a 20 horse twin that should keep up...




those are old pictures, its been refined since then lol

I also have a vintage 1960's grants that im building with a 20 horse twin... should be pretty sweet. wont be ready for the race thow  :(

Sorry you didnt make it.  It was a great time.  Maybe you can come down next year.  I or someone will post the new rules for next year on here when they decide what they want to do.

Ya ill try to attend most of those. Right now im building a new mower so well see what happens with that one. Dont think im gunna be able to make races up here because there really isn't anyone but me and my father that build mowers anymore.
