im running a 99 craftsman with a 700 peerless and a 15.5 intek.  not much motor work, port and polished head with a mikuni and arc flywheel. im not racing any time soon. just kind of a "get away from the wife" project. so cost effective is my big deal.

If your not racing, the stock gearing should be just fine...

ill be runnin a 6 inch on the motor and a 4 inch on the tranny. cant really go any bigger on the motor. i built my own clutch modeled after the ec clutch but has bigger pulleys. my wife hates the mower so much that i dubbed it "the wifes nightmare" .  thanks again everyone.
