Which wheel? The flywheel with inertia, or the back wheel, which Dale left out of the equation! Although it was included in the initial synopsis...

No dang wonder he's confused, he started way south of Rosebush! heck he musta been almost to Hoenwald with that explanation!!  He barely got to the "From" let alone never even got close to the "to". :D

A:  The flywheel is an energy storage device, not a link in the chain of parts which transfers energy from combustion into foward movement.

2:  I didn't feel like typing all the pieces beyond the transmission/transaxle/jackshaft pulley as this could vary, not to mention there is one heck of a lot of part just getting through a tranmission, input shaft, pinion gear, bevel gear, (did I get those backwards?) shaft, gear, another gear, shaft, srocket, chain, sprocket, axle, hub, wheel, tire.  For a jackshaft/transaxle setup there are even more, would you like me to type them all out?  LOL

I assumed we could agree that no parts of the transmission/transaxle/jackshaft were inside the engine.   Guess I assumed wrong.

III) What was the original question again?

Dale, heading up the to race shop, have a situatoin of the mower deck being 1/4" low, even though the frame is 1/2" high.  We all know what sticklers those tech guys are.
