I know it's a higher horsepower and displacement version, but for discussions sake, here goes.

On the Deere 757's (the same cylinder head,) the exhaust valve on cylinder 2 has a tendency to get hot and bind in the guide, ultimately moving the guide and bending the pushrod.

Look out for false coilbind due to the retainer hitting the guide, and/or bent pushrods.
