Paul, for your benefit and the benefit of others, rather than giving directions to the thread and the post and all them goodies, and everyone have to count down through them...

When you go to the post, just to the left of the "Posted: Wed Jul 26, 2006 2:13 pm    Post subject:" at the very top left hand corner of the posts, there is a little image of a page with the corner folded over... white --> by default or sometimes whatever, (there's a place to change them on your post, but no one finds it). Click on that little image and it'll snap that specific post to the top of your browser and set the address to target that specific post. Go up and left click in your address bar just off to the right of the address someplace, that should highlight the address, if not left click and hold the button down and drag the cursor across it to highlight it all, then right click over the highlighted address and select copy or do the ctrl + C shortcut and copy the address. Then go to your post and paste it; right click|paste, or ctrl + V. That will give you a link directly to the post rather than giving directions.

And, I think you wanted post #7 there...

Awww cmon!! I thought you were a forum freak, like me man??!

Yeah, it is a really nifty feature, and it gets everyone exactly where you want them to go, when you want to point out other posts! Without even giving directions... kinda like, "Scotty beam me over yonder!"

What's even cooler, I just right clicked in the address bar up there playing, and it highlights the address and opens the little utility box so you can select copy, all in one click.  :P

Yeah they move them around on different types of boards, and in fact on different templates. I've seen them all over on the posts left, right, top, bottom, even way over <~~~ yonder under the member name. Only thing consistent about them is they are usually a little bitty image sitting all alone.

It started out as Plan A--------------but you know how things go.  It quickly became Plan B.  Nothing went right in the build.  Front axle put in and cut out---twice.  Steering took four designs.  Clutch/belt system is still under development.  On my 4th tranny and second trany plate.  Do you see the pattern?????!!!!!!  But it sure is fun.

That link thing is cool, not sure I'll remember how to use it though!

Paul, are you happy with the g-team carb?I have pretty much the same moter as you, with the exception of the carb work and am intending on sending don a carb to work over.Did you notice a differance or did you do all the work on the moter at once?I have been running quit well against twin flatheads and ohv singles with it winning my fair share of races,But I think with the carb work (and the 31cid Im slowly putting together)Ill really give em something to follow.Anyone else who has thoughts on dons carbs Id really like to know.TB

Good Carb, easy to tune, very forgiving of weather factors...

Way better than any "stock" set up...

Don's carb-----WAAAAAAAAAAAY Cool.  Just like Squidd said very forgiving.  Set it and leave it.    Looks nothing like a briggs when you get it back.  I've tried to do the same thing with not so good results.  You will be very happy.
